23. All Russia Rotary Children's Music Competition
The main project of the club is supporting young musicians and providing
scholarships for those talented musicians from all over Russia in the age of 8 – 12
years. The finals take place in Moscow every year in December. The project is also
supported by our Rotary partner Clubs from Remscheid / Germany and Ravenna / Italy. This
project unites many Rotarian Clubs from Russia (last year 21) and herewith enables the
pursuing of common values of fellowship and community services.

22. Medical help for Hospital in Buenos Aires
Our club provided for the children hospital Dr. Ricardo Gutierrez
in Buenos Aires medical equipment for the chirurgical department as for about $ 3.000,-- .
Our Argentine club member Sara Sanchez Arnau handed over the equipment,
mainly three blood pressure devises and other needed items for the children hospital.

21. Soup - Kitchen project
The Antioch church in Moscow is providing once a month a warm
meal for poor and homeless people. Our Club is providing additionally each month about 50
care parcels for those people with main food products when they leave the church. The Club
members are also involved in serving the lunch to those people in need in the premises of
the Antioch church.

20. Aid to polar explorer
Gil Elkaim is a French polar explorer who is touring in a
solitaire way along the north coast of Russia and the whole world with his huskies and
sledge. His lead dog Puschok has fallen ill which could have effected the whole
expedition. Our club granted him medical assistance by sending a team of eye surgery
doctors from Moscow to Chukhodka at Far East, about ten hours to fly from Moscow away. The
surgery intervention sawed the life of the dog and enabled Gil the continuation of his
successful polar expedition.

19. Tomilino, Club’s project
Once visited the orphanage “Our House” in Tomilino the members
of our Club realized that the furniture is not the only thing needed there. A special
Club’s project was established to provide the orphanage with other necessary things and
equipment. A computer class has been already opened and donated from our Club. A
substantial support for the project was donated by the concert pianist Lisa Leonskaya to
our Club.
Equipment and instruments for the workshop will be also supplied to the
orphanage.
We are providing free tickets for the kids for cultural events like
concerts, circus and other performances. The project is meant as a long - termed main
project of our Club.

18. Our Home orphanage
in Tomilino
Our Club received a Matching Grant from Rotary Foundation to provide
an orphanage in Tomilino (not far from Moscow) with furniture. The furniture is chosen and
commanded already and after obtaining the tax exemption on the Grant the Club will
officially deliver it to the orphanage.
The project is a joint project with the support of the Rotary Club in
Moultrie and RC Thomasville both from the United States of America.
